The question keeps coming up: when is the best time to go to the Philippines?<\/em>
The short answer is simple: there is no universally perfect month<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Philippines does not follow a rigid dry season \/ rainy season pattern.
The climate is governed by wind patterns<\/strong>, transitions, local disturbances and very marked variations from one year to the next.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is precisely why certain widely held ideas, such as February always being the best month, are inaccurate<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

From June to December, rain is more frequent; from January to May, the heat builds gradually. Showers are often short, late in the day, followed by fine sunny days. It can also rain for several days in a row, with lulls in between: some of our travellers count a trek in the rain as their best memory. Typhoons, long confined to the second half of the year, now hit the archipelago outside that period too, like Odette in December 2021 or Agaton in April 2022. Hence our conviction: on Biliran, flexibility matters more than the calendar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
