Who are we?
We are a Franco-Filipino couple, Charles-Éric and Diana.
Since 2018, we have divided our life between France and the Philippines, with a simple wish: to live between two cultures and let them converse naturally.
Our story is deeply tied to the island of Biliran, where Diana comes from and where her family still lives.
It is where we return, where we take our time, where life unfolds without any staging.
Chez Mamang was born from this lived experience.
Living with a family, on the spot, at the pace of everyday life, as Charles-Éric did within Diana’s family. An obvious way to understand a country, far more than simply travelling through it.
We offer you a country seen from the inside, to understand the people who live there.
In Manila, Ephraim is often the first face you meet.
